Wolf's Poetry

Moonlight Vigil

The moon waits silently behind shifting curtains
Fingers of soothing light reach down
He gently caresses his lover's soft body.

The sleeping sea drifts from a dream
She rolls restlessly, sighing
And stretches out on the silky sand.

The dream lures her and she relents
Smiling, she slips back to her bed
Long tendrils of silvery hair follow her.

Her lover catches them
And lets them slide over his pale fingers
As she falls asleep again beside him.
