I, Robot (Author: Isaac Asimov)

For a time period when robots were simply a dream of humanity, Isaac Asimov shows an amzing insight into what could be possible in such a short amount of time. Though his time line was obviously a bit short, his characters give an interesting twist to the human condition. I must admit, however, that it seems highly improbable for a robot to reason its way from Descartes to Muhammed. The "There is no Master but the master" was taken directly from the Islamic saying "There is no God but the one God, and Muhammed is his prophet." Other then that, however, it seemed rather well thought through.
Addiction Rating: 3, Overall Rating: 3.5.
