Thus the original Fantasy Novel comes to a close. I do not believe that I will ever find a better series in this genre for many reasons, not the least of which is that the originality of this series is comparable to that of the Star Wars saga. Nothing like it had ever been done, so they had to invent all sorts of new things. Here Tolkien invents many of forms that were never used before, and everyone since has copied them.
