Snow Crash (Author: Neal Stephenson)

OK. This is one of the single coolest/weirdest books I have ever read. There are a TON of refs to computer things (which if you can't tell by looking at the website here I am kinda into.) I have noticed that there are lots of places in this book that keep me from lending it to my friends. If you are not of the majority that doesn't want to read the (not so subtle, if you know what I mean) adult references, and can take the swearing and the computer stuff then it's really a MUST read. If you are not into computers, then the necessity of reading this book goes down parabolically. For myself (computer geek that takes everything read with a grain or 12 of salt) it's a perfectly classical book.
Addiction Rating: 4.5 (Afterall, I stayed up till 5:00 am finishing it!), Overall Rating: 3.0.
