The Fires of Heaven (Author: Robert Jordan)
In a continuation of this curious story, The Fires of Heaven shows that maybe Robert Jordan is able to stir a bit of suspense after all. Not simply fun reading, this story seems to ask a different question than the prequels. Though not on the level with Edgar Allen Poe, Jordan explores the mine field of insanity with brave strokes. It is difficult to say whether this book will thrill the average reader, or leave him with a bitter taste of boiled catfern and powered mavinsleaf in his mouth from expecting more.
