King of the Murgos (Author: David Eddings)

As always, Eddings shows us just how masterfully he can control dialogue and characterization. After the forboding and gloomy tone to the last book, Eddings' return to his natural humor and wonder is a welcome and joyous occasion. ("Let's not bicker and argue about who killed who...") This book shows that the author of this series (unlike some other evil people) really enjoys his work. You definately do NOT find that stagnation that seems to plague so many authors who have discovered that there is a living to be made by writing quickly and sloppily. Thank you, David. I for one am glad you kept your end of the author-reader code.
Addiction Rating: 5.0, Overall Rating: 4.0.
