OK, I'm going to be totally out of character for this review. Any one else out there despise Ce'Nedra by the end of this book? Wasn't she a pain in the neck? I couldn't believe how irritated I could get at a character in a book! Eddings has gone to great lengths to depict a character that you know will turn out OK, but that for the interim you are left loathing. I must admit, he did a masterful job.
